The aim of IJHeMaS are as follow:

• Attract high-quality original articles, systematic reviews, perspectives, policy summaries, book reviews, short summaries, commentaries, forecasts, and letters to the editor that explore developments and changes related to health systems.
• Ensure that articles reflect a wide range of disciplines, methodologies, and topics.
• Provide a high-quality and fair peer-review process.
• Ensure that articles provide a reliable source of information for journal readers.
• Ensure that articles have broad ministerial scope, with a particular focus on low- and middle-income groups.
